About YCT solutions

I'm Sarah, I trained to be a counsellor because I've worked in workplace change professionally for over 10 years in an corporate environment and through that work I discovered I love helping people adapt, confront and make peace with the change in their lives. I took this a step further to study counselling and now love helping people adapt to change in a therapeutic environment. Although informed by my day job and theoretical education, I don't treat your therapy like I'm in the office. I work with you first and foremost as a human being that recognises change needs to be made, and I will help you get there. Sometimes we cannot control changes, but I believe you are the one that should have ultimate control of how you move through the world. I understand the pressure, stress, anxiety and emotional toll change can have on our lives, be it at work or at home. I set up this service outside of the traditional limitations of the 9-5, knowing that sometimes we can't all take time off every week at 2pm and that's not always when we most need to talk. I offer tailored counselling sessions to help you grow and thrive in life. Learn about my unique approach and commitment to your well-being.

Our Approach

At YCT solutions, I believe in a counselling journey that is unique to you. I understand that you may be busy during traditional working hours. Your mental health is important to you but you need to work on it on the evenings or weekends. As an independent counsellor , I can offer flexible online tailored counselling sessions using integrative therapy, as I see each client as a person and not the next sales target. To back this, I also do not take excessive amounts of clients, I hold a strict limit of active clients so that I can be responsive and flexible. As a fully qualified and experienced counsellor, I use various therapeutic techniques to create an environment that helps you grow and thrive. I offer evening and weekend availability to fit around you and your weekday commitments.

Who I work with

I work with people who are committed to change, who know life has given them a challenge and they need some support to navigate them. If you don't know how you can change, or where to turn next I can help you find that next move. You may not yet know if therapy is for you right now, you maybe stumbling across the many wide ranging wellness websites out there looking for answers. If you are stressed, anxious, feeling grief or you don't know how to describe how you feel, then I am here for you. I aim to guide you towards a brighter future, helping you build the life you want, deserve and will look forward to.

I am fully compliant and ethically aligned to the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society), you can read more about them here. I hold my ethics in the highest regard, voluntarily aligning with the society to protecting you and give high quality care. The UK counselling industry is sadly, not legally regulated, this means anyone with any minimal training or experience can call themselves a counsellor and offer you services. At You Change, I have undergone many years training, including over 100 hours of counselling at voluntary organisations to hone my skills and qualify. I treat this a serious health care profession. My qualifications and any back up paperwork is available to see for your piece of mind.
